STEP 1: INITIATION & CONCEPT
Once the onboarding process is completed, our first steps involve crafting a comprehensive game plan. This includes analyzing timelines and budgets while determining a scope that fulfills all your needs and aspirations. During this phase, we will conduct an initial survey that includes measurements and site photography of the existing conditions.
We will then dive into the concept. Here, our goal is to encapsulate your vision for the space, translating your aspirations into design elements. These elements will serve as a continuous thread throughout the project to create a unique and cohesive home.
STEP 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Depending on your project scope, this phase will take different forms that will span from space planning and furniture layouts to sourcing finishes and furnishings such as furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallcoverings, accessories, and everything in between.
Following this, we will create presentations that feature rendered drawings, models, and finish samples to convey our design intent. We will conduct a series of meetings, which can be held either in person or virtually, to review the various options and ensure they align with your vision and expectations.
STEP 4: PROCUREMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
Once the proposals have been approved and we receive the deposit, we will begin procuring all the furnishings. This includes placing orders, coordinating the receiving, and addressing any potential issues as they arise. Throughout this process, we will provide regular status reports to keep you informed of the order statuses and ensure the budget remains updated.
As the design implementation advances, we will maintain continuous communication with the General Contractor (GC) and trades involved to ensure that all work aligns with the design intent and meets your expectations seamlessly.
STEP 3: PLANNING & SPECIFICATIONS
Once the design and selections have been approved, we will proceed to develop specification packages and proposals. These packages will delineate the design intent for the trades involved in the project, encompassing schedules, drawings, and detailed specifications. Depending on the scope, those items can be developed in collaboration with an architectural firm.
Simultaneously, the proposals will comprehensively outline all the specifications pertaining to the furnishings to be ordered.
STEP 5: INSTALLATION
As construction nears completion, we will coordinate with the receiver and oversee the entire installation process of your home. Our goal is to ensure everything is meticulously placed and aligned according to the design plan.
Once the installation is complete, we will style and photograph your home, capturing its essence for our portfolio and potential publications. We then prepare for the big reveal and for you to enjoy your new home!
